Process Operator

On behalf of your client we are recruiting for a PROCESS OPERATOR. The Company processes chemicals used predominantly in the Water Treatment Industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking job security.

Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:30 (40 hour week)

The successful candidate will undergo approximately 6 weeks of training during which the rate of pay will be £13.50 per hour.

As the operator becomes competent in each process, this rate increases incrementally to £14.50 per hour.

This role requires a level of flexibility and operators may occasionally be required to work an alternative shift to cover holidays or operational requirements.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Production of chemicals as required by the business for use in water and sewage treatment facilities
• Testing of product samples in laboratory
• Routine maintenance and housekeeping
• Accurate and timely upkeep of records including production data

Key requirements of Role:

• Forklift training carried out within last 3 years
• Loading shovel training carried out within last 3 years
• Flexible attitude to shifts and overtime if required

Forklift and loading shovel training will be arranged in the absence of evidence of the above.
