PRODUCTION PLANNER| NORTH COUNTY DUBLIN | PERMANENT |

Due to expansion, our client is currently searching for an experienced Production Planner to join their on-site team in North County Dublin on a permanent basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has previous experience with Supply Chain in FMCG or Manufacturing to join their expanding team where a great salary and career progression are on offer.

Please note that own transport is required due to location of site and this position is a fully office-based role.

Monday to Friday with one Saturday morning in four remotely with time of in lieu.

You can complete hours of your choosing from 6am - 3pm or 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

THE ROLE|

  • Working as part of the Planning team, you will schedule, monitor and assist the coordination of the flow of products through the complete production process.
  • You will review the forecasted sales demand to determine customer requirements.
  • Working alongside the Purchasing Team, you will ensure forecasting and inventory management is completed and orders are planned and scheduled in a timely manner through to the production team ensuring the customer service levels are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

  • Continuous review of forecasted sales demand to determine customer requirements.
  • Continuous balancing of materials supply and stock levels to optimise operational efficiencies
  • Completion of status reports to monitor production progress and update systems
  • Ensure the correct quantities of ingredients needed for the day's productions are planned
  • Work with the purchasing team to ensure correct volume of materials to meet the production schedule

REQUIREMENTS|

  • One year's previous experience within a production planning role in a FMCG manufacturing environment preferably Food
  • Knowledge of Food Production and Processes involved
  • Excellent communication skills, excellent attention to detail with strong data analysis and numeric skills
  • Strong system experience including ERP systems and IT skills especially Excel
  • Due to location, own transport is required
