Hours: Monday - Thursday, 06:30 - 16:30

The Role
Wrightbus, a leader in zero-emission transport solutions, is seeking Driveline Assembly Operatives to join its expanding team in Ballymena. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical fitting, who are looking for a long-term career in a fast-paced production environment.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of chassis components to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate complex assemblies and safety-critical parts on a driveline chassis.
- Interpret detailed technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
- Work across multiple assembly operations while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Fit and assemble chassis components to Wrightbus quality standards.
- Carry out cosmetic and functional quality checks, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Operate hand tools and plant equipment safely in line with company procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies within the workshop environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
- Be available for overtime as required by management.
- Undertake training and upskilling as needed, including training others when required.
Essential Criteria
- Time-served qualification in a relevant discipline such as Fitting, Mechanics, or Plumbing.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Ability to work to strict production schedules in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
- A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
