Payroll Executive| Public Sector| Dublin 20

The Client: We have immediate requirement for a payroll officer to join our client's team, located in Dublin 20. The role will be offered on a temporary basis for approximately 3-6 months, however, there may be an opportunity to extend on a long-term basis. The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and timely payroll and HR form processing within specified deadlines for circa 500 staff.

Hours of work: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch | 35 hours per week

Length of contract: 3-6 months with the possibility of further extension/permanency

Requirements:
* Ensure accurate attention to detail in own work and work of team

* Supervise and promote a positive working environment for the of 4 team
* Actively participate in innovation and support change and improvement initiatives within the service; adapt local work practices ensuring team knows how to action changes.
* Monitor efficiency of service provided by team, identify and implement changes to the administration of the service where inefficiencies arise.
* Data input - processing data through internal systems, formulating and maintaining databases
* Maintenance of records and filing systems both manual and electronic to effectively manage information

In Return:
* Hourly rate within the region of €25-€27 per hour
* Weekly payroll
* Opportunity to apply for long-term/permanent positions internally
