Legal Officer (DP)
Deputy Principal Legal Officer required for a large public sector organisation based through the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
Location: Belfast
Hours of work: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm (37 hours p/w)
Salary: £21.99 p/h
Duration: Temporary ongoing
In the RHI Policy/Legislation Team under the Business Case and Future Options workstreams, the DP will.
- Assist with the development and passage of any required primary or secondary legislation.
- Provide information relating to Judicial Reviews as required.
- Contribute to discussions and drafting papers in relation to options for the Future of the Scheme.
- Lead in the drafting of any Executive Papers relating to RHI Legislation.
- Liaise with and seek advice from DSO as required.
- Development of Primary and / or Secondary Legislation
- Assistance with Judicial Reviews
- Drafting of Executive Papers
- Drafting in relation to Policy Options
Essential:
Must be a qualified barrister or solicitor entitled to practise in Northern Ireland or be in a position to become so entitled by the date of appointment.
