IT Hardware Support Technician
Staffline Recruitment IrelandJob description
We're looking for a hands-on IT Hardware Support Technician who's great with tech and even better with people. If you enjoy fixing computers, setting up gear, and helping coworkers solve tech problems, you'll fit right in.
This role focuses on keeping our hardware running smoothly-from laptops and desktops to printers and monitors. You'll be the go-to person for hardware setup, troubleshooting, and repairs.
What You'll Do:
Set up and configure computers, monitors, and other equipment for new and current team members
Troubleshoot and fix hardware issues (think: broken screens, failing hard drives, printer problems)
Keep track of IT equipment and help manage inventory
Work with software support and other tech team members to sort out mixed hardware/software issues
Help make sure everyone's gear is working properly, whether in the office or remote
Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs or new orders
Keep simple records of what you fix and track support requests
What We're Looking For:
Some hands-on experience with IT support or tech repair (around 1-2 years is great)
Good understanding of computer parts, accessories, and how to fix them
Familiar with Windows and macOS, and basic networking stuff (like routers and switches)
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Comfortable working on your own but also happy to help out as part of a team
