We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Electrician to join the team of our client Shaw Automation based at their head office in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

Key Accountabilities:

• Light industrial Electrical installation
• Installation of Power cabling
• Installation on Control cabling
• Installation of instrumentation cabling
• Assistance with assembly of LV Switchboards
• Assistance with assembly of Electrical controls panels
• Testing and checking operation of Motors and Supplies for general power

Special Requirements:

• There be may a requirement to travel within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland for reassembly of switchboards and site testing

Essential Criteria:

• Full UK driving licence
• GCSE A-C in English and Maths
• Low Voltage Switch gear
• Motor Starters
• Electrical Wiring
• Cable installation

Desirable Criteria:

• Electrical testing of low voltage systems and cabling
• Functional testing of low voltage systems and cabling
• Testing of control circuits
• Electrical safety testing
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification
