Job description
Staffline Recruitment Ireland are delighted to announce a new and exciting opportunity for Rigid Truck Drivers to work for our freight forwarding client based in Dublin. The role is a permanent position with benefits such as Healthcare, Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, and Bonus Scheme. Drivers must have a Valid C licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph. All details confirmed below.
Salary: €36,000 - €38,000
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (9am - 5:30pm)
Hours Per Week: 37.5 Hours (OT x 1.5)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport cargo between head office and client locations
- Perform thorough pre and post vehicle safety checks
- Comply with all industry and road safety regulations during transportation
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as required
- Any other warehouse duties assigned by the warehouse manager
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with our service providers
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and record logs
Skills/ Experience:
- Full C licence
- Digital tachograph card and Driver CPC card - all cpc modules up to date
- ADR licence
- At least 2 years' driving experience
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practice
- Effective time management, planning and organisational skills
- A team player
