About the Role

Staffline Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a reputable company. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure your next role with a trusted employer. You'll play a vital part in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods as per schedule.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and unloaded safely.
• Maintain accurate records, including delivery paperwork and logs.
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team and report any issues or delays.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 2 years of HGV driving experience.
• Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

• Experience in curtainsider and tipper lorries
• Knowledge of local routes and areas.
