HGV1 Driver

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in the Fermanagh area are seeking to recruit an HGV Class 1 Driver to join their existing team

The Role:

As the HGV Class 1 Driver you will be:

• Driving the HGV 1 Curtainsider or Flat Bed Lorry
• Transferring material from site to locations in the North and South
• Moving pallets in the warehouse
• Shunting trailers in the yard for the loading teams
• Helping the loading team when there are no trailers to move
• General maintenance of the lorry

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driving licence (CE) for HGV1 vehicle alongside your CPC and Digi Card
• Previous HGV Driver experience essential
• Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job
• Reliable
• Must be able to cope in a highly pressurised environment
• Adherence to and appreciation for H&S and general housekeeping standards
• Counterbalance forklift licence would be an advantage

Hours of work:

• Working hours may vary depending on business requirements. Start times may be from 4am to 7am, with an average working day of 9.4 hours excluding breaks
