Warehouse Manager

Our client, a market leader in household furnishings, is inviting applications for a new position of warehouse manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch and intake of stock, and maintaining high standards of stock control and safety. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a busy, environment and can do so confidently.

Key areas of responsibility :

• Responsible for the entire logistics/stock management of the business ensuring all goods inwards and dispatches are timely and accurate.
• Leading the team of employees providing clear direction and efficiency.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement agreed solutions within the department.
• At all times ensure that the Health and Safety requirements are adhered to by the entire team.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse management
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer knowledge. Training will be provided on our computer system
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbally
• Forklift Licence
• Full Clean Driving License

On offer :

• Permanent role
• €45,000 - €50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm 9am to 4pm one Saturday in Four
• Paid Holidays: 22 days paid leave. 5 of these taken at Christmas
