Staffline Recruitment Ireland is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager. This is a full-time permanent role based on-site in Rathkeale.

Organisation:
The company is a family-owned Irish wholesale food supplier and distributor. Partnering with trusted local and international producers, they cater to a diverse client base, including hospitality, catering, health care, education, and retail sectors. With a strong focus on reliability and customer satisfaction, their dedicated team and fleet of multi-temperature vehicles ensure efficient and high-quality service tailored to meet the needs of their customers.

Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Manager, the role involves overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient stock management, team leadership, and smooth warehouse functionality. Key responsibilities include:

  • Stock Control - Managing inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Order Picking & Dispatch - Coordinating and assisting in the picking, packing, and preparation of stock for delivery.
  • Forklift & PPT Operation - Using forklifts and powered pallet trucks (PPT) to move and organise stock safely and efficiently.
  • Team Leadership - Supervising and motivating warehouse staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring productivity.
  • Health & Safety Compliance - Enforcing safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment.
  • Warehouse Organisation - Maintaining a clean, structured, and efficient work space to optimise operations.

Criteria:

  • Proven experience leading a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting;
  • Experience using scanning and software systems;
  • Proactive and strong communication skills;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and manage time efficiently;
  • Forklift counterbalance and PPT experience is required;
  • Available for evening shifts (11 am - 8 pm or 12 pm - 9 pm).
