Freight Coordinator

An established logistics and freight forwarding company is currently seeking a UK Road-Freight Coordinator to join their busy and growing team in Tipperary/Limerick area. This role plays a key part in ensuring that cargo moves smoothly and efficiently across borders-meeting customer needs while adhering to operational and legal standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage and process bookings in line with internal procedures

• Communicate with customers and subcontractors via phone and email

• Liaise with partners and clients in both Ireland and the UK

• Coordinate transport solutions tailored to customer requirements

• Handle route planning and carrier selection

• Collaborate with internal departments and external providers

• Ensure seamless transport planning and execution

About You:

• Ideally, you'll have at least 1 year of experience in transport or shipping, but we're open to training the right candidate

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise under pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Fluent English, both written and spoken

• Customer-focused with a proactive attitude
