Forklift driver

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers for our client, a leading organisation in the transport and logistics industry. We are interested in candidates with a background in fast-paced warehouse environments and expertise in operating reach forklifts at high rack levels.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to site safety rules.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and store products.
• Follow the organization's business values and quality and customer service standards.
• Ensure accurate and efficient order picking, wrapping, and staging for shipment.
• Execute instructions from your direct line manager accurately and efficiently.
• Accurately check and receive deliveries per company SOPs.
• Maintain detailed records of warehouse inventory and locations.
• Ensure accurate stock recording.
• Conduct cycle counts as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy, ensuring doors are closed when not in use.
• Prevent damage to goods.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork and attention to detail.
• Develop methods to optimize warehouse space.
• Exhibit good time management skills.
• Report issues and concerns to management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a forklift operator in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
• Up-to-date Forklift License (Reach and Counterbalance) required.
• Manual Handling Certificate is advantageous.
• Strong safety and quality awareness.
• Proficiency with IT (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Flexibility regarding work hours.
