Staffline Ireland is currently seeking a Shunter to join our exclusive client, a manufacturer of dairy products, on a long-term temporary basis at their site in Newtownards. Offering an attractive hourly rate and industry leading overtime, this position is a long-term temporary role, and the successful applicant will work on a day-shift operation.
Role:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for Shunting vehicles in a busy yard, operating a counterbalance forklift and maintaining site cleanliness and safety procedures.
Criteria:
- Previous shunting experience in a busy yard.
- Shunting licence or equivalent.
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 5pm
- Fridays 7am - 2pm
Rate of pay:
- £12.43 per hour
- £18.65 after 37 hours worked (standard week is 42.5 hours)
- Enhanced overtime for evenings/weekends
