Job Title: Fitter
Location: Castledawson

Staffline Recruitment are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our Client manufacturing team in Castledawson.

Job Duties

As a Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Assembly and fitting of manufactured and purchased components

• Using both manual and powered hand tools

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Ensuring safe and controlled movement of production parts

• Collaborating with the team to support continuous improvement initiatives

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical fitting or a similar manufacturing role

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Full clean driving licence

• Experience working in an ISO 9001:2008 quality-controlled environment

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Desirable Skills

• Experience in a similar manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with fitting electrical and hydraulic systems

• MIG and stick welding skills

• Forklift licence

• CSR Health & Safety card

• First Aid training
