Financial Controller - Derry/Londonderry
On behalf of our client, a well-established multi-million-pound manufacturing business based in Derry/Londonderry, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance leader to take full financial ownership within a dynamic and growing organisation.
You'll lead a high-performing finance team, overseeing all financial and management accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and driving operational improvements. This role is integral to the strategic direction of the business, supporting commercial initiatives and business development through insightful financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a finance team of two Financial & Cost Accountants
* Oversee P&L, balance sheet reviews, and variance analysis
* Manage forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting
* Provide accurate costing and cash flow analysis
* Support IT system improvements and business strategy
* Manage Capex, working capital, and credit control
What We're Looking For:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
* Strong background in finance, ideally within manufacturing or operational settings
* ERP and Excel proficiency
* Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
