Field Sales Engineer | Industrial Automation & Process Controls

Location: Dublin South | Full Clean Driving Licence Required

Are you a technically minded sales professional with a passion for industrial automation and building lasting customer partnerships? We're seeking a motivated Field Sales Engineer to join our client's expanding team and strengthen their presence in the industrial automation, process control, pneumatics, and electrical controls sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to represent a market leader, delivering tailored, value-driven solutions to contractors, project managers, and business owners, while developing new business opportunities and maximising existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with channel partners, contractors, project managers, and business owners
• Deliver professional CPD presentations
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation through to close
• Grow and optimise existing customer accounts, identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets

Skills/Experience Required

• Minimum 3+ years' proven experience in solution-based field sales
• Background in industrial automation, process control, pneumatics, or electrical controls & automation
• A technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• Strong track record of winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to take ownership
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Full clean driving licence
