Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Deputy Agri Sales Manager for a market leading manufacturing company. The Deputy Agri Sales Manager role involves developing relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and assisting in the overall management of the agricultural sales team. You will work closely with the Agri Sales Manager to drive sales strategies, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the company's continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Agri Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, agricultural contractors, and distributors.
• Provide technical knowledge and product recommendations to customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Support pricing, quotations, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee order processing, delivery coordination, and after-sales support.
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Train and mentor sales team members.
• Deputise for the Sales Manager in their absence.
• Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in agricultural sales, construction, or a related industry.
• Previous management or leadership experience, even if gained in a different sector.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with farmers, contractors, and distributors.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• A full, clean UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in managing or leading a sales team within a related or different industry.
• A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Understanding of industry regulations and sustainability practices in agriculture.
