Job description

Credit Controller required for Portadown

Hours of Work:

8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday

8am-4pm Fri

Salary depending on experience

Duties

  • Set up new Customers on Database.
  • Carry out Credit Checks and ensure that all customer details are correct.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and prompt remedial action as required.
  • Telephone / E-mail customers to ensure debt collected within the agreed payment terms - recording all actions on Customer Account.
  • Legal recovery of unpaid debts where appropriate.
  • Effectively dealing with customer account queries, including liaising with other departments, i.e., despatch, sales etc to ensure that they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Liaise with the Sales Team regarding Credit matters.
  • Daily Posting and allocating of payment received.
  • Ensure and maintain confidentiality of customer information.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2 years previous experience in a busy credit control team / function
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
