Job Summary:

An established healthcare facility in Dublin is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) for Minor Procedure Rooms. The successful candidate will take charge of the minor theatres, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of patient care. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate the nursing team in the minor procedure rooms.

• Oversee patient care, ensuring adherence to best practices and hospital policies.

• Delegate tasks effectively to nursing staff and support consultants in patient care.

• Monitor staffing levels and assist in scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.

• Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and quality control.

• Participate in HIQA and JCI accreditation standards compliance.

• Manage stock control and ensure the department is well-supplied.

• Support staff training and orientation while contributing to performance assessments.

• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with An Bord Altranais (NMBI).

• Minimum 3-5 years of post-registration experience in an acute setting.

• Proven clinical and professional expertise.

• Strong management, organizational, and IT skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and planning abilities.

• Fluent English proficiency.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A management qualification.

• Experience in risk management, clinical audit, and human resources practices.

• Ability to anticipate trends and plan for service development.
