Clinical Nurse Manager 3 - Mental Health

My client is an independent not-for-profit hospital seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (3), for their in-patient mental health service based in Dublin 16.

The client provides a spectrum of neuropsychiatric services to adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health needs such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementias, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.

Key Duties:

• Lead and advise on infection prevention.
• Support outbreak management and audits.
• Lead during medical emergencies and drills.
• Review incidents and improve systems.
• Manage emergency meds, equipment, and Sepsis care.
• Train staff to spot and act on patient deterioration.
• Track training results and support staff through mentoring.
• Support high-risk units and act on lessons from audits.

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse (NMBI).
• At least 5 years' experience, including 2+ in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control.
• Postgraduate qualification in IPC, Nursing Management, SafeWards, or similar.
