Staffline Recruitment are hiring for a Business Development Manager for one of Ireland's leading spirits company.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve all targets and objectives within territory.
  • Manage and plan territory to achieve maximum results.
  • Develop and implement annual business plan for key accounts, using agreed format.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer and area performance against business plan, make appropriate changes where required.
  • Develop, present and agree customer / event/ product specific proposals.
  • Develop and implement new customer acquisition plan, using agreed format.
  • Develop, manage and grow relationships with Wholesalers, as required.
  • When required, work with Wholesalers Sales Representatives to ensure they are representing the company appropriately.
  • Complete all required administration to agreed deadlines.
  • Use sales support technology in an effective manner.
  • Report on and make recommendations on response to competitor activities.
  • Ensure all current and relevant POS materials, Price Lists and Brand Catalogues are available for every call.
  • Be available to carry out special projects in line with Company/Corporate Development Plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in developing business plans and applying relevant and appropriate business development techniques, measures and behaviours
