Staffline are recruiting on behalf of NHSCT for a Band 4 ICT Project Administrator required on a temporary basis based in Antrim

Role: Band 4 ICT Project Administrator

Rate of Pay: £13.57

Location: Holywell, Antrim

Hours: 37.5hrs

Duration: 3 Months Initially

Main duties/Responsibilities:

The post holder will provide administrative support to the ICT Project Manager and, where required, senior ICT staff in the delivery of ICT components of Trust programmes in an efficient, effective and high quality manner.

The post holder will have a culture of team working, continuous improvement and innovation, and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Service Delivery

  • Responsible for the organisation and provision of administrative duties and project support to the ICT Project Manager. This will include diary management, note taking as appropriate, word processing, mail management, file maintenance and the preparation of papers, reports, briefings to ensure that project requirements are met.
  • Identify, collate and present information and reports as necessary.
  • Providing support to service users, ensuring queries or requests are dealt with in line with project and system processes and procedures.
  • Drafting correspondence and reports on behalf of the ICT Project Manager.
  • To maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external, maintaining appropriate communication networks and presenting a professional image at all times.
  • Type reports, memos, letters, forms to a high standard, as required - using appropriate processing systems.
  • Liaise with outside agencies and other disciplines, dealing with enquiries as
  • Responding to telephone queries, which will include taking and passing on clear and concise messages and obtaining and passing on
  • Maintain confidentiality within and without the workplace at all
  • Support the approval processes for ICT Project expenditure, including input to business case development, gateway reviews and project evaluations.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the post/band that may be assigned from time to time by senior ICT staff.

Development and Innovation

  • Engage in personal and professional development to maintain a high level of relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Development of knowledge of the relevant business areas associated with ICT programmes.

Communication/Collaborative Working/Key Working relationship

  • Liaise with customers, colleagues, and suppliers/vendors as required, ensuring good relationships are maintained at all times

Information Management

  • Ensure all documentation for which they are responsible for is kept up to date.
  • Assist the ICT Project Manager in the formulation of policy, procedures, standards and guidance.

Essential Criteria:

  • 2 x A Levels AND have worked for at least 18 months in a general administrative, or project support role within an office environment
  • OR
  • Have worked for at least 3 years in a general administrative, or project support role within an office environment.

PLUS

  • At least 18 months experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
