Senior Loading Operative / Dispatch Operative

Location: Nenagh, Co. Tipperary
Pay: €17 - €18 per hour
Hours: 3-11PM

Staffline Recruitment is working with a well-established, family-run Irish business based in Nenagh to recruit an experienced Senior Loading Operative to join their warehouse and dispatch team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong warehouse or loading background who is ready to take on additional responsibility within a busy distribution operation.

The successful candidate will play an important role in overseeing daily loading and dispatch activities, ensuring orders are prepared accurately, vehicles are loaded efficiently and the warehouse team operates smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily loading and dispatch operations.

• Ensure vehicles are loaded safely, accurately and on schedule.

• Allocate tasks and provide direction to loading and warehouse staff.

• Monitor outgoing orders and ensure the correct products are dispatched.

• Operate counterbalance forklifts as required.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation.

• Ensure all loading activities comply with health and safety procedures.

• Communicate with drivers, warehouse colleagues and management.

• Report directly to the Transport Manager, providing updates on daily operations and any issues arising.

• Help maintain an efficient and productive working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse, loading or dispatch environment.

• Experience coordinating or supervising a team would be a strong advantage.

• Counterbalance forklift licence and practical experience.

• A confident individual with good communication and organisational skills.

• Someone who can take ownership, use their initiative and make decisions when required.

• A reliable, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.

• Good attention to detail and a strong understanding of warehouse health and safety.
