Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Driver Merchandiser to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys a combination of driving, merchandising, stock management and customer interaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers across the Cork region, maintaining stock levels, placing customer orders and ensuring a high standard of service at all times.

A company van and mobile phone will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily deliveries and merchandising duties across the Cork region.
• Plan and organise delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Deliver products to customer locations and ensure stock is stored neatly, safely and correctly.
• Monitor and maintain agreed stock levels at customer sites.
• Conduct regular stock checks and place replenishment orders using online ordering systems.
• Check deliveries against relevant documentation and report any shortages, damages or discrepancies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and proof of delivery documentation.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure the company vehicle is maintained to the required standards.
• Communicate effectively with the internal team regarding deliveries, customer requirements and operational updates.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a delivery driver, driver merchandiser or similar role.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Previous experience in merchandising, stock control or inventory management would be advantageous.
• Good IT skills and confidence using online ordering systems and mobile applications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities efficiently.
• High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable with early morning starts.
• A positive, flexible and hands-on attitude.
