Location: Rathfarnham, Dublin 16

Hours: 78 hours per fortnight

Salary: €55,000-€65,000 per annum

An opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 to lead nursing service delivery within a specialist adult mental health care setting. This permanent role suits an experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse with strong clinical leadership, staff management, and governance experience.

Key Duties:

• Lead the strategic and operational development, coordination, and management of nursing services in line with national and regulatory standards.
• Ensure high standards of treatment, patient care, and safety.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory programmes, health and safety requirements, and risk management standards.
• Lead and implement operational change programmes within nursing services.
• Collaborate with residents, families, carers and colleagues on goal setting and care planning.
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ensure nursing practices, procedures and policies align with organisational and strategic plans.

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse with An Bord Altranais.
• At least three years' post-registration nursing experience, including a minimum of one year in adult mental health services.
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting, including acute mental health care.
• Flexibility to cover night shifts, bank holidays, and weekends.
• Strong clinical, managerial and administrative competencies.
• Experience managing staff, budgets, and workforce planning.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Commission requirements, leadership, governance, and Clinical Governance.
