About the Role:

An opportunity is available for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a CARF-accredited Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation unit in Oranmore. This permanent position would suit an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of three years' experience who is interested in specialising in neurorehabilitation and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Duties:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to individuals with acquired brain injuries.
• Support clients in regaining daily living skills, cognitive functions, and community integration.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, psychologists, speech therapists, and support staff.
• Contribute to assessments, goal setting, and discharge planning.
• Provide education to families and communicate with clients' next of kin to support effective occupational therapy.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CORU registration.
• Minimum three years' experience.
• Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate and proactive approach to patient care.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working with neuropsychological patients
