Sales Representative

Location: Mayo & Galway

Hours: Monday to Friday, hours vary

Pay Rate / Salary: From €40,000 per annum, plus bonuses on reaching targets

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative - Foodservices to manage and grow an established Mayo and Galway territory. This permanent role will suit someone with sales experience who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business and increasing sales within the foodservice sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage existing accounts and secure new business across Mayo and Galway.
• Plan daily customer visits and maintain an organised call calendar.
• Build relationships with buyers and decision-makers through regular contact, product demonstrations and account reviews.
• Develop product knowledge to recommend suitable products and introduce new lines.
• Work with internal teams on quotations, pricing, promotions and product availability.
• Provide customer support and resolve queries with colleagues.
• Meet or exceed agreed sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Essential Criteria

• Sales experience, ideally within the food sector.
• Strong organisation, self-motivation and territory management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Confidence using technology for sales activities and customer communication.
• Professional manner and presentation.
• Full, clean driving licence.
