HR Officer

HR Officer required for Fermanagh (permanent role)

Hours of Work : 8am - 5.30pm Mon-Thur, 4pm Friday finish

Salary depending on experience

Duties :

• Provide operational human resource support to line managers and staff
• Maintain effective and compliant HR records
• Support ongoing recruitment processes:

1. Drafting job descriptions and personnel specifications
2. Advertising roles
3. Liaising with agencies
4. Utilising LinkedIn to identify and proactively reach out to talent
5. Scheduling and participating in interviews
6. Providing confidential administration support.
7. Support the onboarding of all staff.

• Provide HR employment advice and guidance across the three jurisdictions (NI, ROI and GB)
• Effective and accurate reporting of all data to tight deadlines
• Support the probation and performance management process
• Develop training and development initiatives
• Co-ordinate Apprentice and Graduate programmes.
• Support the training and roll out of new HR systems
• To work in a strictly confidential manner
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by management

The successful candidate will ideally:

• CIPD qualification or relevant experience is essential, along with a flexible approach, professional attitude, and the maturity to handle confidential information.
• Previous generalist experience in a HR department preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience and good knowledge of up-to-date employment law is essential
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
• Computer Literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills with the ability to communicate to all levels in the organization
• Highly organized and approachable, with the ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and discreet with the ability to handle sensitive HR Information
