Job description
Staffline Recruitment Ireland are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. We're looking for someone who is reliable, works well in a team and is comfortable with day-to-day warehouse duties including forklift operation, picking and packing, goods in and stock control. A valid forklift certificate and previous warehouse experience are required.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Salary: €30,000 - €35,000 DOE
Requirements
- Previous experience in a computerised warehouse environment
- SAP experience essential
- Experience with WMS and RFID systems desirable
- Valid Forklift and Manual Handling certificates
- Full driving licence
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, flexible and able to work to deadlines
- Strong team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Logistics or supply chain qualification desirable
- Medical warehouse experience desirable
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN or similar techniques desirable
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders in line with company procedures and KPIs
- Book in goods received and customer returns
- Put stock away in the correct warehouse locations
- Carry out stock control and rotation duties
- Deal with dispatch and order queries
- Follow ISO procedures and company compliance requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Work closely with Sales, Operations and Support Teams
- Support company initiatives and continuous improvement
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Complete additional warehouse duties as required
