Job description
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Derry.
As the Warehouse Operative, your duties will be
- Receive and issue materials, equipment, and other items in line with operational requirements.
- Accurately record inventory transactions using manual and digital systems.
- Organise and prepare all the necessary materials and equipment required for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Monitor inventory movement and identify discrepancies through regular cycle counts and stock verification.
- Ensure all store materials are correctly identified, labelled, and stored in their designated locations.
- Manage outbound shipments, including documentation and coordination of pick-up with service providers.
- Assist in maintaining minimum stock levels for critical components to avoid production delays.
Hours of work:
- Must be flexible for day and night shifts
- Day shift: Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm and Fri 8am - 2.30pm
- Night shift: Mon - Thurs 6pm - 6am
- 40hrs per week
Requirements:
The ideal Warehouse Operative will have
- Experience in warehouse, material handling, or inventory control.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
