Staffline Recruitment Ireland is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Cork team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment or sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and helping people take the next step in their careers.
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, working closely with clients and candidates to understand their needs and deliver a high-quality, tailored recruitment service. From developing new business and managing client accounts to sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews and negotiating offers, you will play an important role in the continued growth of our Cork branch.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and build strong relationships with prospective clients.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, identifying additional recruitment opportunities.
- Work towards agreed sales, revenue and gross profit targets.
- Manage vacancies from initial client brief through to successful placement.
- Source, attract and engage suitable candidates using job boards, databases, networking and other recruitment channels.
- Screen, interview and shortlist candidates against client requirements.
- Prepare candidates for interviews and provide ongoing feedback and career guidance.
- Coordinate interviews and manage the recruitment process for clients and candidates.
- Negotiate job offers, salaries, notice periods and terms of employment.
- Proactively market suitable candidates to existing and prospective clients.
- Provide clients with insight into salary levels, candidate availability and market trends.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, candidate and vacancy information on the CRM.
- Deliver a professional, compliant and high-quality recruitment service at every stage of the process.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, commercially focused and motivated by achieving results.
You should have:
- At
- a target-driven environment involving new business development and account management.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- A proactive approach to business development and candidate sourcing.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to work towards targets.
- Excellent least one year's recruitment consultancy experience within the last five years, or
- At least two years' direct sales experience within the last five years in organisation and time-management skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- A Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
- A full driving licence or access to transport, as travel may be required.
Experience using recruitment databases or CRM systems and professional recruitment accreditation would be advantageous.
