We are currently seeking

Purchasing/Admin Assistant

The successful candidate will assist the Procurement Manager across the procurement function

Duties will include:

• Order processing and order administration
• Processing Account opening forms
• Progressing orders
• Assisting with stock Management & stock control within the organisation
• Liaising with the Vendor Supply Chain
• Supporting with booking in and out issues
• Administration of all quotations
• Price List administration and conversions
• Updating and cleansing system information, including product information and new contacts
• Dealing with price enquiries, queries and transferring calls
• Dealing with supplier and customer queries to progress orders

Skills and attributes:

• 2 years previous experience in same or similar role desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
• Excellent communication skills (Telephone & email)
• Ability to influence and build strong supplier relations
• Confident in dealing with deadlines whilst working under pressure
• Strong Computer skills, which must include use of all Microsoft packages
• Strong Organisational Skills
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail
• Experience using ERP systems
