Rigid Truck Driver

Staffline is currently hiring for a HGV (Rigid Driver) for our client based in Cork.

Responsibilities

• Completing all required documentation upon delivery
• Providing a high standard of customer service when interacting with clients
• Manual handling of goods.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of your assigned vehicle
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly
• Always ensuring full compliance with road safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• The driver is primarily required to do the home deliveries to Customers so the candidate needs to have a good phone manner, be professional and be used of phoning customers ahead of their delivery.
• When not doing deliveries, they could help out in the stores area with ad hoc stuff.
• Forklift and Manual handling certs required.
• Copy of valid Category C Driving Licence
• Copy of Driver CPC Card
• Copy of Digital Tachograph Card
• Good geographical knowledge of Cork City and County

Hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.
