Pay Rate / Salary: €37,500-€46,000 per year (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:
Social Care Leaders are required to support a children's mainstream residential service for young people in Carlow. This role will suit practitioners who want to be part of building a high-quality, therapeutic service from the outset. Social Care Leaders will work within a relationship-based and trauma-informed care model.

Key duties:
- Leading shifts and providing day-to-day leadership to the staff team.
- Supporting the Service Manager and Deputy Manager.
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
- Mentoring Social Care Workers.
- Contributing to care planning and maintaining HIQA/Tusla compliance.
Essential criteria:
- Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Social Care or CORU-eligible discipline
- CORU registration or application submitted (evidence required)
- Experience working with children and/or young people
- Full driving licence
