Location: Dungannon

Pay: £14.17 per hour

Hours: 38 hours per week

· Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm

· Friday: 8:30am-3:00pm

About the Role

The Compliance and Quality Systems Coordinator will monitor and audit the quality, hygiene, food safety and microbiological aspects of manufacturing to ensure compliance with legal, third-party and customer standards.

You will raise supplier notifications relating to quality incidents and work with suppliers to ensure these are resolved effectively and within agreed timeframes.

You will also support the Compliance and Quality Systems Manager by:

· Helping to ensure regulatory compliance is consistently achieved.

· Promoting a strong culture of food safety, quality and compliance.

· Coaching and training employees at all levels across the site.

· Developing and maintaining the Integrated Management Systems in line with company and industry standards.

· Coordinating document management systems and audit programmes.

· Ensuring non-conformances identified through internal, certification body, customer or supplier audits are corrected and independently verified.

Relevant standards include ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FDA, BRC, FSC and ISCC Mass Balance accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the maintenance of quality, food safety and regulatory standards across the site.

· Coordinate quality systems, compliance processes, audits and document control.

· Maintain supplier approvals and manage supplier non-conformances.

· Prepare product specifications, compliance declarations, reports and KPI data.

· Support internal audits, GMP checks and corrective-action follow-ups.

· Assist with quality and food-safety training across the site.

· Work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and external auditors.

· Support continuous improvement activities and deputise for the Compliance and Quality Systems Manager when required.

Essential Criteria

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

· At least 12 months' experience in a Quality Assurance role, with a demonstrable understanding of food safety and/or Quality Management Systems such as BRC or ISO 9001.

Or

· At least 24 months' experience in thermoforming, offset printing or injection-moulding operations, with a good understanding of Quality Assurance within these functions.

Desirable Criteria

· Knowledge and practical experience of internal auditing and Good Manufacturing Practice within a BRC-accredited manufacturing environment, or a similar setting.

· A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate people at all levels.

· A logical and consistent approach to problem-solving.

· The confidence to raise concerns and challenge processes appropriately when required.
