Rate of Pay: £14.12 per hour
Hours of Work: 37hrs per week
Working Arrangements/Flexibility: various hours between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. A flexible working hours scheme in operation. The post holder may be required to work additional hours and outside normal working hours to meet the needs of the post.

Environmental Services - Administration Assistant based in Armagh - temporary up to 30/09/2026
Responsible for the provision of a timely and effective administrative service and associated activities within the Waste Management office on a day to day basis.
Responsible for the provision of customer services and associated operations for the effective delivery of Waste Management objectives.
Estates and Asset Management - Administration Assistant based in Craigavon - temporary up to 31/12/2026
To provide confidential and comprehensive administration support. The post will require a high level of customer service and ability to deal with and resolve issues using personal and professional judgement, building relationships with internal and external offices at all levels promoting the profile of the Council.
Human Resources - Administration Assistant based in Craigavon - temporary up to 31/03/2027
The successful applicant will provide the necessary administrative services within the Human Resources and Organisational Development Department and provide a high level of customer service to all users.
The duties of this post will include dealing with the public, employees and casual workers, telephone calls and visitors, liaising with other Council Departments, confidential/sensitive information, maintaining computer and other records, filing typing, photocopying and providing general secretarial support.
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent/comparable including English Language and Mathematics
- 1 year's relevant experience in each of the following:
- General administration experience
- Dealing with the public in a customer service capacity
- Use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective team member
- Ability to undertake multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and organise and prioritise work
- Ability to act on personal initiative and take decisions within agreed guidelines
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion in relation to sensitive and confidential matters
Desirable Criteria:
- Additional relevant qualifications
- Experience in the administration of accounts/invoices
