Assembler/Warehouse Operative - Lisburn

£14.09 per hour
Temporary assignment 3 months (with potential for extension)

We are currently recruiting an Assemblers & Warehouse Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment based in Lisburn. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assembler looking for a day shift role with competitive pay and the possibility of longer-term work.

The Role

Warehouse Duties

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stock control and inventory counts.
• Ensure the warehouse and storage areas are kept clean, organised, and safe.
• Operate warehouse equipment and manual handling equipment safely (where authorised).
• Complete warehouse documentation accurately and maintain inventory records.
• Follow all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality policies and procedures at all times.

Assembly Duties

• Perform manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Assemble fabricated parts to specification.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet required tolerances and product specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble units safely and accurately.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work efficiently to achieve production schedules and quality requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar assembly or Warehouse role
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Previous experience operating Forklift Trucks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
