About the Role

We are recruiting for a SHE Manager to join the Longford site. This SHE Manager role is responsible for driving environmental, health and safety compliance, leading the site EHS strategy, and promoting a strong safety culture. The role is suited to an experienced EHS professional with a background in a high-speed production or processing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the site EHS strategy, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across the site.
• Develop, implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, training, emergency response and crisis management plans.
• Manage EHS reporting, audits, accident investigations, employer liability cases and legal compliance.
• Act as the main contact for regulatory bodies, customers, emergency services and external stakeholders.
• Oversee environmental compliance, budgets, waste management, wastewater treatment, licences and environmental reporting.
• Deliver EHS training, communications and contractor audits while supporting Group audit programmes.
• Manage site EHS activities and undertake other duties as required.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in EHS management.
• Environmental and Health & Safety degree or equivalent.
• Experience and knowledge of EHS within a high-speed production and processing environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, numerical and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams and influence colleagues.
• Ability to identify EHS risks, implement solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• PC and SAP skills.
• Flexible approach with strong cost awareness and effective resource management.
