Driver (Cat B Licence)

On behalf of our client based in Ballynure we are recruiting for Drivers with a Cat B Driving Licence

Starting point will be based at the Ballynure Depot & from here you will collect your transport & allocated job locations for the day.

Start Time: 7am (8hrs per day) Mon-Frid

ROP: £13.15 (Overtime on Sat-Sun)

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

To ensure all paperwork and electronic documentation is completed accurately, including additional vehicle condition reports, signed by the relevant parties in the appropriate places, and submitted where necessary, this will also include the use and management of a handheld electronic device.

You will inspect thoroughly all vehicles for damage, wear and tear, mileage and shortages, and make notations on the relevant paperwork. You will then ensure that damage is countersigned by the contact person at the collection point.

You may on occasion be required to prepare demonstration vehicles for delivery to customers. This will include washing the exterior of vehicles, cleaning the interior, and fuelling if required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Well-presented and professional, with strong communication and customer service skills

Confident using in-car infotainment systems and handheld devices such as tablets and smartphones

Excellent attention to detail

A collaborative team player

Strong communication and administrative abilities

Highly organised with a methodical approach to tasks

Able to handle sensitive customer situations with care

Holds a full, valid driving licence (category B)

Over 21 years of age

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

Previous experience working within the motor industry eg. sales, body work, in-car infotainment systems.
