Sales & Key Account Executive
A growing supplier of innovative packaging solutions is seeking an ambitious and motivated Sales & Business Development Executive to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in sales and business development. The successful candidate will inherit an established customer portfolio and play a key role in developing existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities across the food, pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors.
Initially, the role will be office-based in Dublin 11, providing the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of products, customers and markets. As experience and product knowledge grow, the position will evolve into a customer-facing role involving regular travel throughout Ireland.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships via phone, email and face-to-face meetings.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Generate and qualify new sales leads.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and an active sales pipeline.
- Deliver excellent customer support across a range of industry sectors.
Applicants will meet the following requirements:
- Experience in sales, customer service, account management or business development.
- Experience within packaging, manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical or agricultural industries
- Strong commercial awareness and an interest in sales and business development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean driving licence.
This permanent position is an excellent opportunity to secure a role with genuine excellent long term career progression. A starting salary in the region of €40,000 - €45,000 will be payable, depending on experience along with a hybris working model of 2 days per week working from home.
