Location: Longford, Co. Longford
Pay Rate: €14.21 per hour
Overtime Rate: €17.76 per hour
Hours: Full-time
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10.45pm-7.00am

About the Role

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting Production Operatives to join the night-shift team at Birds Eye in Longford.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy food manufacturing environment, supporting the production and preparation of high-quality products. The successful candidates will work as part of an established team, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in line with required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily production and manufacturing activities
  • Operate production equipment safely and in accordance with training
  • Prepare, process, pack and label products as required
  • Complete product and packaging quality checks
  • Identify and report any quality, equipment or production issues
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene and quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Complete production records accurately where required
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Complete overtime when required and available

Essential Criteria:

  • A good standard of spoken and written English
  • The ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • A reliable and punctual approach to work
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to complete overtime when required
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, hygiene and quality standards

Previous experience as a Production Operative or within a factory, food production, manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

A valid forklift, counterbalance or reach-truck licence would also be advantageous but is not required.
