The Opportunity

An established and growing commercial insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker to join its expanding Agricultural Division. This role offers the opportunity to manage and develop relationships with farming and agricultural clients, providing tailored insurance solutions while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of agricultural and commercial insurance clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive account management.
• Advise clients on suitable insurance products and risk management solutions.
• Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and secure appropriate cover.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.

Candidate Profile

• Previous insurance experience is essential, with agricultural insurance experience highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and market practices.
• Proven customer service and account management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Cert CII qualification, or willingness to work towards professional insurance qualifications, would be advantageous.
