Pharmacy Technician

A busy, independent pharmacy is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This Pharmacy operates from Monday to Sunday, therefore some hours over the weekend and late evening shifts may be required from time to time as well as shifts throughout the day.

Key Duties:

• Help prepare and give out prescriptions under the pharmacist's supervision in a friendly and professional way
• Make sure all work is accurate and double-check details
• Prepare and organise blister packs for patients
• Manage and track pharmacy claims properly
• Keep an eye on stock and order medicines when needed
• Help customers and give advice on over-the-counter products

Essential Criteria:

• 1 year of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in an Irish run pharmacy.
• Must have experience using a pharmacy system, e.g. McLernons.
• Must have a solid understanding of submitting claims and preparing resubmissions.
