Band 2 Support Services Assistant

Location: BT6 8HW
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours:

  • 1 x 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • 2 x 30 hours per week (4-day rota)

Job Summary / Main Purpose

To provide an effective and efficient cleaning service, ensuring a safe and clean environment for the delivery of patient/client-focused services.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high standards of environmental cleanliness in accordance with protocols and procedures, which are essential for the prevention and control of healthcare associated infections.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, internal glazing, and high/low-level surfaces
  • Cleaning of sanitary areas within clinical and non-clinical environments in line with Trust standards
  • Completion of assigned cleaning schedules to required quality standards
  • Maintaining high standards of environmental cleanliness under supervision
  • Cleaning of specialised areas and equipment as required

Essential Criteria

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Full training will be provided in line with Trust procedures
