Van Sales Driver

A leading food distribution company, supplying high-quality products across Ireland seek to hire a Van Sales Driver.

This role combines delivery driving with sales, requiring the successful candidate to build relationships with customers, identify sales opportunities, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across assigned routes in a timely manner.
• Drive sales by promoting products and identifying up-selling opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Manage orders, returns, and payments where required.
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods.
• Maintain vehicle in good condition and report any issues.
• Adhere to all road safety and transport regulations.
• Meet daily delivery and sales targets.

Requirements

• Full clean Rigid (Category C) driving licence (essential)
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Previous experience in a van sales or delivery driver role (preferred)
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Good knowledge of the Mayo / West of Ireland area
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good numeracy and record-keeping skills
