Job description
My client, an international leader in hospitality, seeks to hire a Meeting and Events Manager.
This role will be on-site in Galway City.
Responsibilities
- Plan meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events.
- Create simple timelines and plans for each event.
- Give advice and ideas to help them plan their event.
- Work with suppliers such as catering, AV teams, decorators, and travel providers.
- Agree on prices and services with suppliers.
- Oversee events on the day to make sure everything runs well.
- Manage contracts, invoices, and event budgets.
Requirements
- A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (or similar work experience).
- At least 3 years of experience planning events.
