Deputy General Manager

My Client, a 4-star hotel in the heart of Galway City, seeks to hire a Deputy General Manager.

This role will suit someone with experience in operations, who has leadership and commercial skills.

This is a permanent on-site role based in Galway City.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in running the hotel.

• Lead department heads and guide staff.

• Motivate and train staff to give excellent service.

• Ensure high standards in all areas, especially Food & Beverage.

• Help manage hotel costs and profits.

• Keep the hotel safe and meet health and safety rules.

• Build strong relationships with staff and guests.

• Work under pressure in a busy hotel environment.

Requirements

• 3-4 years' experience as Deputy or Operations Manager in a large hotel.

• Experience developing and mentoring employees.

• Ability to read and analyse Profit & Loss reports.
