My client a leading public sector organisation based in Belfast is currently seeking a Part-Time Marketing Assistant to join their existing team.

Hours: The hours of work are 18.5 hours per week.

Pay: £15.88 per hour

Job Summary / Main Purpose

The post holder will support the work of the Marketing Leads in the development of integrated marketing campaigns to promote HSC NI Adoption & Foster Care across the five health and social care trusts. The Marketing Assistant will help raise brand awareness and support recruitment efforts across offline and online channels.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Support the Marketing Leads to implement an integrated and robust marketing and communications strategy to raise the profile of adoption and foster care across Northern Ireland.
  2. Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns.
  3. Assist with the production of marketing literature and materials.
  4. Engage with third party agencies and suppliers in the procurement and development materials and merchandise.
  5. Write and proof-read marketing copy for both online and print campaigns.
  6. Contribute to the development of the social media content plan, generating ideas, creating engaging content, and scheduling across various platforms.
  7. Support with the update of the corporate website with consideration for SEO optimization to drive web traffic.
  8. Assist with evaluation reports for management to measure effectiveness and key engagement metrics.
  9. Ensure compliance with law eg copyright and data protection.
  10. Support with market research and competitor analysis.
  11. Act as brand advocate, providing advice and support to colleagues across HSC NI Adoption & Foster Care.
  12. Support with partnership collaborations to increase brand awareness and drive recruitment efforts.
  13. Any other relevant duties in line with the job role and work of the department.

Essential Criteria

A relevant university degree (such as arts, communications, marketing) OR professional 3rd level marketing qualification OR equivalent /Higher qualifications AND 18 months experience in a marketing role

· Experience in SEO

· Experience in contributing to digital marketing campaigns

· Experience in social media marketing

· Experience in the use of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or equivalent

Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. Where disability prohibits driving, this criteria will be waived if the applicant is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements

· Effective planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload

· Effective communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full

· Ability to work as part of a team while using own initiative

· Ability to identify solutions to problems and implement them effectively

· Ability to work to tight timescales while meeting targets

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain good working relations with all levels of staff within the Trust; with a wide range of health and social care services professionals; and to liaise with various external agency

· Ability to work under pressure without full supervision
