Social Care Worker (Multiple locations)

Locations: Sligo, Galway, Longford & Mayo

Job type: Permanent/ full time and part time

Currently seeking highly motivated and dedicated full time and part time Social Care Workers/Residential Care Workers to join our client's team, to work in a number of residential sites that manage and support adults and children living with intellectual disabilities The roles would be based throughout Sligo, Galway, Longford & Mayo.

Key duties:

• Support the day-to-day running of the service and deliver person-centred care.
• Ensure residents' personal plans meet regulations and standards.
• Encourage independence, community participation, and meaningful activities.
• Engage with families, clinicians, and the local community.
• Implement positive support programmes and provide personal care as needed.
• Stay up to date with social care policies and disability services.

Essential criteria:

• Candidates must have a Level 7 (or higher) qualification in a relevant subject and be registered, or in the process of registering, as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
• Full current driving license.
